Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Maharani Indian Restaurant online ordering platform. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Maharani Indian Restaurant operates this online platform for food ordering and delivery/takeaway in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka. All orders placed through this platform are subject to these Terms.

2. Placing an Order

• You must be 18 years of age or older, or have parental consent, to place an order.
• By completing checkout, you enter into a binding agreement to purchase the selected items.
• All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Menu items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute unavailable items or cancel orders if items cannot be prepared.

3. Delivery

• Delivery is available only within our designated service areas around Kurunegala. See our Delivery Policy for zone details.
• Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary due to traffic, weather, or order volume.
• You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect address information.

4. Payments

• We accept Cash on Delivery (COD), PayHere online payments, and LankaQR.
• Online payments are processed by third-party gateways (PayHere, LankaQR). We do not store your card details.
• All orders are subject to price confirmation. In case of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing.

6. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Place fraudulent or fictitious orders.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Maharani Indian Restaurant is not liable for:

• Delays or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (traffic, weather, civil unrest).
• Allergic reactions if you have not disclosed allergy information prior to ordering.
• Loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) this platform.

9. Allergen Notice

Our kitchen handles a wide variety of ingredients including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and shellfish. If you have a food allergy, please contact us directly at +94-701003001 before ordering so we can advise on suitable dishes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
